Up until now, the only way to get data back from a very remote transmitting station

was to install a Weather Envoy in a shelter near the station, then drive out to the station

and download the data directly. With new Vantage Connect™, you can have your remote

Vantage Vue or Vantage Pro2 data sent to any computer or smartphone in the world.

Simply install the unit within range of your transmitting station. The data logger in

Vantage Connect receives and stores the data, then automatically sends it via cellular

connection to your secure page on www.weatherlink.com.

to your PC and smartphone

Vantage Connect Retroﬁt Kit

Allows you to turn your existing console into a Vantage Connect cellular modem. Just plug the

console or Weather Envoy into the retrofit kit via serial cable included with WeatherLink. Includes AC

power adapter. Requires WeatherLink for Windows, serial (6510SER).

 

Vantage Connect

Vantage Connect can transmit any information that a Vantage Pro2, Vantage Vue or Weather Envoy can log.

Vantage Connect will even send you an email or text message alarm when preset weather conditions occur.

Set alarms for high wind, frost, flood, or any other condition—as many as you like. The alarm capability works

in real time, sending an immediate alarm regardless of the update interval in your service plan.

The Vantage Connect package includes WeatherLink software and your own WeatherLink Network account

(see page 21 for more information). View the data online on your computer or smartphone, or download the

data to your PC for analysis, archiving, and reporting in WeatherLink (CD also included). Vantage Connect will

allow you to view and store data from any station that is within cellular range. Mounting hardware included.

Radio compatible with Vantage Pro2 and Vantage Vue transmitters and repeaters. Solar powered with

battery backup. Setup requires a PC. System requirements: a computer running Windows XP and above.

 
